Welcome to Utopia Padel Ipswich! We are located at the picturesque Copdock & Washbrook playing fields on the Old London Road.
We currently have one padel court (the second is due mid July), a pickleball court and a table tennis table.
We are a 'Pay & Play' venue open to all and membership options are available. We run social events, group and private coaching for all abilities and ages.
Equipment (rackets and balls) are available for hire on request.

Booking Information
Welcome to Utopia Padel. Our court rates, which will apply from 1st March, are:
- Weekday morning (8am to 12am) - £16/hr
- Weekday lunchtime (12am to 2pm) - £20/hr
- Weekday afternoons (2pm to 5pm) - £16/hr
- Weekday evenings (5pm to 10pm) - £24/hr
- Weekend early (8am to 9am) - £16/hr
- Weekends (9am to 6pm) - £24/hr
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance of the booking time will incur a £1 transaction fee. For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance of f the booking time, a 50% charge will be made.
Racket Hire
For those who do not have padel equipment, we offer rackets and balls for rental. The cost is £2 per racket per session. Please email contact@utopiapadel.co.uk or text 07771 534586 to let us know what you require.
Membership
You can play at Utopia Padel on a pay-and-play basis as often as you would like, However, if you become hooked and do start to play frequently, as many people do, you may wish to consider one of our membership schemes:
Adult Membership
Benefits
- £2 / hour discount per member (courts, group coaching and other activities)
- Priority booking - extended from the standard 8 to 14 days in advance
- Special offers on lessons, events and competitions
The cost is £60 / annum paid annually in advance or £6 / month collected monthly in advance.
Junior Membership
Available for those under 18 at the time of renewal.
Benefits
- Play for £2 / hour at all times (i.e. court cost of £8 / hour if 4 Junior Members are playing together)
- Special offers on lessons, events and competitions
The cost is £24 / annum paid annually in advance.
Padel Coaching and Development Programme
We are delighted that or programme will be developed and delivered by the PC PAdel Academy, founded by Mark Cracknell.
Mark has been playing squash, racketball and tennis in and around Ipswich for over 40 years. He was introduced to padel 3 years ago. From his first game, Mark was bitten by the padel bug and only leaves the court to eat and sleep.
Mark is an LTA accredited coach with qualifications as a Certified Coach, Advanced coach and Kids coach with the Spanish Padel MBA academy. He loves nothing more than sharing his knowledge and passion of padel with others looking to improve their game.
We will be offering group as well as private coaching.
Mark delivers group activity sessions (at various levels and found under ACTIVITIES below) as well as offering private coaching on a one-to-one, partnership or group level.

Junior Development
A coach-led 90-minuted sessions are for juniors (aged 8 to 16) and are designed to boost co-ordination, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement. They are suitable for both complete beginners and developing players alike

Autumn Breakfast Padel

Monday Group Coaching - Beginners
In this coach-led session, we teach and practice the basic skills you need to play padel successfully as well as introducing you to game play.

Weekend Introduction to Padel
Whether you have experience playing racket sports or not, this session gets you started playing padel. This 1 hour coach-led session focuses on introducing you to the basics of the game.
