Level 1 – Beginner
You've never played before, and your only experience comes from volleyball lessons in middle school.
Level 2 – Beginner+
You've just started playing beach volleyball and are working on mastering the basics. You can serve the ball over the net but struggle a bit with serve reception and precise setting with your bump. Nevertheless, you're having a blast and striving to reach the next level.
Level 3 – Beginner++
Now you have a better grasp of the game and know where the ball should go during serve reception and setting. Your hits are often on target, although mistakes still happen. You're determined to improve.
Level 4 – Intermediate
You possess a steady serve, diverse attacks, and the ability to handle powerful serves. Serve receptions often lead to close-to-net positions, and you're consistently delivering good sets at the net.
Level 5 – Intermediate+
Thanks to precise footwork and technique, your serve receptions have improved. You're aiming to set the ball in your partner's hitting zone, allowing for effective attacks at the net.
Level 6 – Intermediate++
You frequently manage to dig hard-hit attacks that come your way, setting up the play for your team. With strong sets, you have a variety of hits in your arsenal to score points. You're also mindful of defenders and blockers when choosing your attack strategy.
Level 7 – Advanced
At this level, you consistently save points or score them. Whether by winning block duels, digging up challenging shots in the corners, or maintaining stability in side-out play against tough serves, your passes are directed precisely, and you're a dream partner to have.
Level 8 – Advanced+
Only the top-tier players in Sweden belong to this level. Both in training and matches, points are rarely scored due to mistakes. Rather, success often stems from exceptional plays on the opposing side.
