Padel is a radical new sport to feature on the racquet scene, which is having a significant impact on people taking up the sport. Padel is a great gateway sport to help develop court skills, enabling you to learn the techniques needed to get into tennis. Tennis can often be an intimidating sport at first for many, because it can be seen as quite elitist and the skills needed usually takes years of practice. However, padel is breaking down those barriers and is providing a sport that can be played across different age groups, but still has the intensity of a competitive sport. Padel’s history is entwined with tennis, but this article will explain the main differences between padel and tennis.

Om Manu
Manu has been a Padel coach for over 7 years with a wide range of experience coaching all levels.
He has a vocational training in Physical Education and degree specialized in sport from the University of Barcelona.
He has a Coach license from the Catalonian Federation an has been in Australia since January and he plans to be here for a long time coaching and enjoy padel with us.

Om Toni
Toni is a highly experienced professional padel player and coach with over 10 years of expertise in the sport. He has trained some of the biggest names in the game, including Quim Florensa, Lucia Sainz, Aranza Osoro, Noa Canavas, and Pol Hernandez, among others.
His coaching spans all levels, from beginners to elite professionals, always bringing passion, knowledge, and dedication to the court. Currently, Toni is the head coach at Padel Gold Coast and the Australian National Coach.

Ladies Social Morning
Ladies Social Session 9:00am to 10:30am
Join us for a fun and relaxed social session every Tuesday morning from 9:00am to 10:30am at Padel Gold Coast. This session is designed for women of all skill levels including beginners to enjoy a casual and friendly environment where you can improve your game, meet new people, and stay active.
This social session offers the perfect opportunity to get some exercise and have a great time on the court. After the session, enjoy a complimentary coffee at the KDV Sport café – the perfect way to unwind and chat with fellow players.
