    Broxbourne Padel Club Championships 2026 - Men/Open

    • Periode: 19 september 2026 - 20 september 2026
    • Prijs: 10 GBP

    The men's/open event qualifying rounds will be on Saturday 19th September starting at 11.30am. The final will be on Sunday 20th September not before 2pm. All entrants must be available at these times.

    This is a Broxbourne Padel Club member's only event - if you are not a member of Broxbourne Sports Club you will be asked to pay an additional £7 on the day.

    Each person should enter separately and pay the application fee of £10 as an individual naming their partner. Your entry will be voided if both partners do not complete the form. The first 16 pairs to enter will go into the draw. Additional entrants will go onto a waiting list.

    Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners up.

    When you complete this form, please ensure that you are logged into MATCHi, and that your name and email address are identical to your MATCHi profile so that it recognises your G4P membership.

    Broxbourne Padel Club Championships 2026 - Mixed

    • Periode: 20 september 2026
    • Prijs: 10 GBP

    The mixed event qualifying rounds will be on Sunday 20th September starting at 10am. The final will be on Sunday 20th September not before 2pm. All entrants must be available at these times.

    This year to encourage entries we are not requiring you to sign up with a partner. Instead, sign up individually and we will draw for partners on the day. You will then keep the same partner throughout the tournament.

    This is a members' only event - if you are not a member of Broxbourne Sports Club you will be asked to pay an additional £7 on the day.

    Should there be, for example, more men than women entering the event, the men who complete their entry first will be accepted into the draw. Any excess men will go onto a waiting list. Obviously the reverse will apply if there are more women than men. You will be kept informed as the entry deadline approaches so hopefully we can minimise the deficit and give as many people as possible who want to enter the chance to participate. We can accept a maximum of 16 pairs for the event.

    Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners up.

    This is a Broxbourne Padel Club members' only event - if you are not a member of Broxbourne Sports Club you will be asked to pay an additional £7 on the day.

About Alan

Alan Beesley is a qualified PadelMBA Instructor and accredited LTA coach with a background in tennis. After playing padel in Spain many years ago, he eagerly anticipated the sport's arrival in the UK. With the first courts appearing in Hertfordshire in 2022, he immediately became hooked on padel. Alan believes that students progress faster and gain a deeper understanding of the game by comprehending the 'why' and 'how', which is often overlooked in some typical coaching methods. Understanding that many of us are visual learners, Alan incorporates video analysis into his coaching, utilising recordings and playbacks to illustrate what's working well and what needs improvement. By demonstrating examples of how professional players execute certain shots, he provides students with a clear reference for comparison and improvement.
