Padel at Christ’s Hospital offers four outdoor, covered and floodlit courts. Whether you’re a seasoned player, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between, we look forward to welcoming you to our accessible and friendly club.
Padel is part of the wide range of facilities at Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Club, which also include a 25m swimming pool, sauna, Fitness Suite, outdoor Yard, over 80 classes per week, and a variety of racket sports such as badminton, squash, tennis and pickleball. Additional facilities include free parking, an on-site café (please check opening hours), free Wi-Fi and racket hire.

Beginner Padel Coaching
A coached beginner padel session ideally suited to players who have completed the Intro to Padel session. Participants should be able to rally across the net and hit both forehand and backhand shots from hand or basket feeds. The session focuses on drills designed to improve core strokes, develop sound technique, and build consistency. With clear coaching and supportive feedback, players will grow in confidence on court and be better prepared for social and coached play.
