How to book a court?

1. Pick date, starting time & court. Press on the date you wish to book a court. Courts are bookable 7 days in advance (longer if you are a member).
2. Add playing partners email addresses. Ensure they are notified, the option to split the cost of payment (in the APP only) and also to take advantage of any membership benefits.
3. Confirm & Pay. Confirm your booking by choosing your preferred payment method.
   

Membership

If you play frequently, we offer a membership scheme:

• £2 / hour discount per member on booking (court or activity)
  
• Priority booking - 10 days in advance
• Includes social membership at Ipswich Sports club (access to bar and changing room facilities)

Outdoor Racket Sports – Code of Conduct

1. Respect for Others

• Treat fellow players, opponents, officials, and spectators with courtesy.
• Ensure that all players and supporters are mindful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
• Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language or behaviour will not be acceptable under any circumstances.
• Line calls should be honest, with the benefit of the doubt given to opponents.

2. Court Etiquette

• Wait until a point is finished before walking behind or entering a court.
• Return stray balls promptly and safely.
• Throwing rackets, hitting balls recklessly, or damaging club property is unacceptable.
• Respect other players’ scheduled time and leave the court promptly at the end of your booking, especially at the end of the evening.
• Respect staff when they remind members of the club’s expectations for respectful, quiet, calm behaviour.

3. Fair Play & Safety

• Follow the rules of the game at all times.
• Play in a controlled manner to avoid injury to yourself and others.
• Wear appropriate sports clothing and non-marking shoes.
• No glass, food, or unauthorized equipment on courts.
• CCTV is in operation at all times for your safety.

4. Facilities & Environment

• Keep the courts clean; use bins for rubbish.
• Be mindful of noise at all times and encourage others to do the same.
• Report any damage or unsafe conditions to the club.

5. Guests & Juniors

• Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
• Juniors under 14 must be supervised unless in a club-organized activity.

• Verbal or Written Warning – for minor breaches.
• Temporary Suspension – loss of playing rights for a set period.
• Financial Responsibility – for deliberate damage to courts or equipment.
• Termination of Membership – for repeated or serious misconduct (e.g., violence, harassment, or illegal activity).
